What is your essence? Is essence in doing or being? Which will last forever? Perhaps the following two quotes by David Hawkins rings a bell!

"We change the world not by what we say or do, but  as a consequence of what we have become."     — David R. Hawkins:
"Make a gift of your life and lift all mankind by being kind, considerate, forgiving, and compassionate at all times, in all places, and under all conditions, with everyone as well
as yourself. This is the greatest gift anyone can give." — David Hawkins: Psychiatrist, spiritual author, and lecturer

"You may believe that you are responsible for what you do, but not  for what you think. The truth is that you are responsible for  what you think, because it is only at this level that you  can exercise choice. What you do comes from what you think." — Foundation for Inner Peace:  Publisher of Course in Miracles

Become a Warrior For Peace!

Sometimes I get the feeling that the whole world is against me but down deep I know that is not true. Some of the smaller countries are neural.” Robert Orbern

One of the most important things in life and success is both patience and perseverance which are reinforced by the following quote. In war as in peace victory often belongs to those who like inventors, Thomas Edison, stay the course.

“The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.” Leo Tolstoy…

I especially like the word warriors because we need to be both patient and persevering to maintain inner peace and create peace for the world. We need to be centered, vigilant, and forward thinking to bring and keep this constantly fluid world alive and moving toward peace.

True silence is…. nourishment and refreshment the to spirit

“ True silence is to spirit what sleep is to the body,…. nourishment and refreshment."
William Penn

Solitude is a fundamental primordial need and all tribal cultures have had the rituals of going out into the wilderness in search of clarity.  This daily retreat can purify our lives, more necessary today because of all the inner and outer inner noise in modern culture and can renew ourselves in purpose and our direction in life.  These moments can help us stay motivated and give us that nourishment and refreshment Penn talks about enabling us to reconnect with our soul purpose. Seek solitude, make it a priority in your life for it will give you inner peace.
